Dr. Steven T. Moore received his Bachelor's in English from the University of Wisconsin, and his M.A. and Ph.D. are from the University of Nebraska. He is the recipient of several teaching and scholarly awards, including the winner of three Teacher-of-the-Year awards. He currently teaches undergraduate, graduate, and honors courses at Abilene Christian University. He writes extensively on the subject of black rage in African American literature, slam poetry, and the significance of music videos. He is the author of The Cry of Black Rage in African American Literature.
