Rise Up Review
Genesis Hernandez is a Los Angeles, CA native. She is a constant seeker of new experiences that encourage growth and build character. She's taken various poetry workshops at the Camera Obscura Art Lab in Santa Monica and is a creative writing mentor for the WriteGirl organization. In 2011, her poem "Contrasts" was featured as the award-winning piece in Inscape Magazine of Pasadena City College; additional work can be found on the elephantjournal.com
