Max Carroll (they/them) (aka Carol Brown) is a genderqueer writer, reader, educator & shitdisturber. Max has been featured at the 2014 & 2015 New York City Poetry Festivals, the 2014 TEDYouth conference & on IndieFeed as well as at the LaMaMa Experimental Theater, the Jersey City Slam, Bailout Theater & other venues across the tri-state area. Their work can be found in Crab Fat, Rising Phoenix Magazine, 11 and 1/2, 12th street, Germ Magazine & The Careless Embrace of the Boneshaker, a great weather for MEDIA anthology. Max collects tattoos & does cartwheels in the street.
